Be Yourself
Be yourself and what you want to be
Do not let people take away your identity
Pursue your dreams they belong to you
Believe in yourself if you dare to attain your goals
Have faith and hope it will carry you through
It is your fate alone and your destiny
Not anyone else’s to be taken away
Do not try to be what others expect
Do not cage yourself in yet be set free
It is your life that the good Lord gave
Each individual, characteristics and traits
All are different; not a one is alike
Life is what you make it so make it the best
Overcome obstacles and challenges
That blocks your way
Just another barrier on Life’s big stage
Status or wealth does not measure success
Yet the triumph of trying even if you fail
You already succeeded by believing in yourself.
