"What does this feel like to me?
What is this doing to me?"
Si types pay attention to their experience of the environment, especially physical and body sensations. They recall data in detail including what it is linked to. Smelling apple pie, they will notice the nutmeg as well as the cinnamon, and immediately remember their grandmother's kitchen. Si types are systematic, patient with details, hard working. They absorb facts, play by the rules, enjoy tradition and rituals. Si types are resistant to change, and rely on hindsight, history and past experience.
Si is the shorthand for "introverted Sensing." It is an information accessing process (PERCEIVING).

Introverted Sensors have an uncanny ability to recall past experiences with detailed accuracy. They mentally store data and information, and compare and contrast the past with the present, giving them the ability to see what is will happen next. This is especially true of information they need to function in the day-to-day worlds of home and work.

Introverted Sensors are dependable, reliable, loyal, responsible and trustworthy people. They tend toward modesty, including modest ambitions and goals, and appear conventional and traditional. They are realistic, sensible, and thrifty, usually buying after careful evaluation. Their purchases are typically practical and functional. They manage time and resources with precision, and thrive on clearly established rules, responsibilities and expectations. They often are born, raised, live and die in the same general neighborhood, preferring not to change environments. They generally prefer the known to the unknown, the tried and true to the untested.

Introverted Sensors enjoy belonging to established organizations. They need to feel useful, and often volunteer. They take their role as a citizen of the world seriously. They trust the lessons of general and personal history and experience.
